On The Run is one of Australia's largest convenience-store fuel chains with 779+ sites. The OTR App lets you earn and redeem points across fuel and instore purchases.

How it works



1. Download the OTR App 2. Create an account 3. Scan your app barcode when filling up or buying instore 4. Earn 1 point per $1 spent 5. Redeem points for fuel discounts, free coffee, food, and instore items

What you can earn



  • Fuel: Earn points on every litre
  • Instore: 1 point per $1 spent on any instore purchase
  • Bonus offers: Regular bonus-point promotions in the app
  • Fuel vouchers: Redeem points for cents-off fuel vouchers

OTR and Viva Energy



In 2024, Viva Energy (the Shell licensee in Australia) acquired OTR. As the integration progresses:

  • Some OTR sites may transition to Shell or Coles Express branding
  • The OTR App remains active at OTR-branded sites
  • At dual-branded sites, you may be able to use either the OTR App or Shell/Coles Express programs

Pro tip



Use the OTR App at OTR-branded sites, and check if the same site also accepts Coles/Flybuys fuel dockets for potential double-dipping. Some sites allow both.
