MVNOs on the Telstra Mobile Network

Telstra operates Australia's largest mobile network by geographic coverage, reaching 99.4% of the population under 4G and providing at least 3G service across the majority of the landmass. Wholesale access to the Telstra network is provided through Telstra Wholesale to a number of MVNO resellers. Sub-brands operating on the Telstra network include Boost Mobile and Belong, both of which are Telstra-owned entities accessing the same underlying infrastructure under commercial wholesale arrangements.

The Telstra network's defining strength is depth of regional and rural coverage. It is the only network with reliable mobile signal across many remote and outback areas, a product of sustained capital investment and Universal Service Obligation infrastructure requirements. In metropolitan areas, Telstra's 5G rollout covers capital-city CBDs and expanding suburban areas. MVNOs on this network can access that coverage footprint at price points typically below Telstra's own postpaid rates.
